Renowned for its dedication to traditional culinary practices, this cozy eatery offers an inviting atmosphere where guests can relish expertly prepared dishes that capture the essence of Japan.

The menu is a delightful journey through classic Japanese flavors, with standout offerings such as the incredibly fresh sashimi, savory teppan yaki grilled fish, and the comforting misoshiro soup packed with seafood. As noted by frequent diners, including long-time patron W T, Restaurante Itidai provides both a la carte and buffet options, each meticulously made to order with fresh, high-quality ingredients. This commitment to quality is a recurring theme in customer reviews, highlighting the friendly service and the family-owned charm that makes every meal feel personal.

Imagine sinking your teeth into a piece of delicate nigiri, perfectly crafted with the freshest fish, or savoring the warmth of a bowl of soba paired with a delightful dipping sauce. The rich flavors and vibrant presentation of the maki rolls invite diner exploration, while the crispy tempura adds a satisfying crunch that contrasts beautifully with the tender fillings. The most traditional Japanese restaurant I've been to: fresh sashimi, delicious misoshiro soup with seafood, grilled fish (teppan yaki) and even roasted green tea (bancha).

Excellent Japanese food in Sao Paulo downtown. Sashimi, soba and grilled fish (anchova) are my favorite dishes ! All the seafoods are very fresh ! And the attendants are very kind. It’s worth to have a try when you are close by.
